HALO Hydration has 2g of naturally occurring sugar from our organic lemon juice. We then add a tiny touch of stevia, a plant based sweetener.

Electrolytes are minerals in your body that have an electric charge known as ions. HALO Hydration is formulated with sea salt, magnesium, and potassium. You won’t find magnesium in most sports drinks. Magnesium is one of the essential electrolytes needed for hydration.

Your HALO Hydration not only has electrolytes, it also has a full spectrum of 72 ionic trace minerals that has been made by Mother Nature. In fact, they are harvested from the Great Salt Lake of Utah. 

We increase our hydrating powers by re-mineralizing our water with trace elements from the Earth. Trace minerals, such as magnesium, copper, fluoride, manganese, iodine, selenium, iron, and zinc are absorbed into the body along with all of the antioxidant goodness inside your Halo Hydration bottle. 

A trending word we hear a lot. Why? Well, antioxidants—which occur naturally in food and beverages—support the body against oxidative stress. Halo Hydration contains antioxidant vitamins A, C and E as well Amla Berry, with antioxidant properties.

We’re loco for coconut water, but let’s just say it’s an acquired taste. Flavoring improves palatability which is important to get athletes like us to like the drink enough to drink enough fluid. Lemon juice plus natural flavors makes a delicious, light tasting, refreshing, drink. We then add minerals, electrolytes, and antioxidants to make the perfect sports hydration beverage for the ultimate wellness warrior. 

While coconut water is chock full of electrolytes, it actually has the same amount of sugar as most sports drinks. 

Once opened, we recommend you refrigerate your HALO Hydration and drink within 3 days. Unopened bottles have a shelf life of 12 months. You will find the best by date stamped on the top of the bottle.

No one takes charge more than our mama’s to be. Rebaudioside A (purified from Stevia rebaudiana) is “generally recognized as safe” (GRAS) as a sweetening agent for foods by the US Food and Drug Administration, but no studies have been done on pregnant or breastfeeding women. Renowned physician Thomas W. Hale, Ph.D. who is the author of Medications and Mothers' Milk.(Medications and Mothers’ Milk, 2012) recommends consulting your physician. He classifies stevia in Lactation Risk Category L3 (probably safe). He notes that Stevia has been used as a natural plant sweetener in South America for many centuries, and therefor classifies it as probably safe.
